I have tested the ROM in my Megadrive 1, and it doesn't boot! Could it be related to this problem?
Anyone has tested it with a real Megadrive and without an Everdrive?

AngryBirds doesn't reset properly, so it probably does have some issues with assumptions about the initial value of memory. That's up to the programmer of the game to deal with, not the SDK.
Most emulators and flash cart menus start the roms in a set state, so some programmers probably never think about it. Seeing issues when you hit reset should probably tell them there's a problem there.
