It's a box inside a box (the cartridge comes in a plastic box, then that goes into a larger box with manual, poster and keyring).

That's like a packaging inception. Seriously though, if the re-release has the same cartridge case and the key ring, I'm sold. I only played through the demo, because I don't want to spoil all of the fun for myself.

Yeah it's identical as far as I'm aware. They just hadn't built all the copies when they started selling.
