This is a complete list of an NTSC north american first-generation
Sega 32X chips and descriptions. I have compiled this
list by taking apart my own unit and documenting everything:
32X PCB Front:

32X PCB Back

Note
--------
The 32X is split into two PCB circuit boards. The top half
is where the 32X cartridge plugs into the unit. There are 2
ribbon cables and various wires that connect to the bottom half
which is pointed down and away from the top PCB. This
portion plugs into the Sega Genesis. The bottom half looks
very similar to a standard Genesis PCB, it even has series 171
serial numbers just like Genesis carts. This portion of the
board contains the heart and soul of the 32X, both SH2 processors,
RAM and VDP's.
