Recently I've noticed few somewhat interesting projects made by russian guy named 'totin' or 'KRIKzz'. It is simple raycasting engine and Battle City exact port to SMD. Both projects seems to be made with Stef's devkit.

Totin/Krikkz has released final version of the Battle City port (file). He said he tested it on the real hardware, and he also don't plan to work on this anymore in near future.
