Yesterday evening I tracked this MIDI (which will soon be YM2612fied): http://www.hot.ee/tmeeco/MUSIC/CA-STG01.MID and how it sounds through on my computer (RARed OGG): http://www.hot.ee/tmeeco/MUSIC/CA-STG01.RAR

This tune is going to be used in stage 1 in my current MD project "CA the meowian" (pics, demos and stuff coming soon).

Please tell me what do you think of it...

But, in my opinion, so much "reverberation" in the file ".OGG"

Hehe, I'd put more reverb, but that tracker (RF systems MIDI tracker) can't do that

I can't hear the ogg file yet, but the midi one sounds good ^^

I can't say nothing about sound solution, because I don't know how it will sound on YM2612 (sure that it will be very different). I also can't say nothing special about composition (as game music), because I don't know where you want to use it. If it will be used for something like boss or title screen - OK; if it will be level music - it will be too heavy to play with such music more than some minutes.

Thanks a lot, level musics will be not as heavy. But as a metal fan, it gives me a real mood to gib something (and thats the games main attraction)... it will get tough for me as such tunes just flow in my mind, waiting to be tracked...
The drums will be almost exactly(no panning) the same like in OGG, everything else will sound as close as I could get to the OGG.
