SNES for HDMI TV

Hi all,

I'm cleaning my house (be ready for an ebay flood of sfc games!) and I can't decide if I need to sell my SFC + GD6
The only thing which could convince me if a cheap (less than the price of SFC + VGA Scaler!) way to play SFC game on any screen (RCA, HDMI), using SFC controllers and up to 4 players.

Yes, I'm looking for a cheap way to play a SFC emultator on TV/PC screen.

At this time, I only find Rasperry's way (just a pain to setup) and BeagleSNES (which need a 150$ beagle board!)
I look at the retroN but it looks to bad :(

Another way would be to use a laptop but I'm cleaning to give more space to my daughter, and a laptop is just bigger than an original SFC.

So, does this exist ? ;)

According to the BeagleSNES site, it will run on a BeagleBone Black which is only $45. Note quite as cheap as a Raspberry Pi, but it has a much faster CPU (1GHz ARM Cortex A8 vs a 700Mhz ARM11).

OK....
RPi + adapteur = 50$
gamepad adapteur = 2*??$
SLG = 50$

flash cart if I only want to remove my GD6 brick = 100$

....I'll keep my SFC+GD6 ;)
just need to finish my backup device handler, to (re)support floppy and LPT

I don't know the cheapest option, but the coolest is probably the Retrode. Has cartridge slots for SNES and Genesis cartridges and supports 2 SNES controllers + 2 Genesis controllers simultaneously. At $80, it's a bit pricey if all you want is the controller adapter part though. I imagine you could hack one up pretty cheaply with a Teensy. Alternatively, both the Raspberry Pi and the Beaglebone Black have GPIO pins that could be used for interfacing controllers (though I think those are 3.3V, so you would probably need to do some level adjustment).
