RetroJunkie on AssemblerGames recently acquired a Cross Products MegaCD devkit, and a bunch of documentation with it, that he's been nice enough to scan and post online. There's a lot of stuff in these documents that's never been posted online before. Check out the various threads in this forum:

I've just barely started looking at these documents, but I've already seen a ton of things I've never seen documented before. Definitely worth checking out.

And on top of this, any day now, we can expect scans of the dozen or so official service manuals that were recently acquired for a bunch of different Sega systems, including the Mega Drive. Very cool stuff.

Right now is a so good time to be a Sega fan !

Manuals and stuff popping out everywhere !

Those Accolade reverse-engineering docs are really a piece of history, very interesting read. It's also funny to see all the things they figured out by themselves, very similar to what people have been doing here for some years, except they were doing this for a company willing to sell Genesis games without a license.

Another interesting document is a more recent version of the official Software Development Manual, which clears up some of the Technical Bulletins we already had, for example the HINT/VINT missing occurrence, the reason why Z80 bus should be taken when reading the I/O area, and event some details about TAS instruction not working properly or what happen when accessing VDP DATA port with the wrong mode (read instead of write, etc).
