I've submitted an official proposal to add a YM2612 audio generation API to the Sphere engine. So far ppl, including three of the most recent engine maintainers, are receptive to it. We'll see how it goes.
I don't expect I'll be the one to personally implement it, as I have no experience w/adding stuff to a JavaScript API, but this is a welcome distraction from my current YM2612 work.
