When I took the AI Programming course we had the deadline for our project (create a RoboSoc team) set to a sunday. It was actually during our xmas break, because the new semester hadn't formally started

That last night pretty much the entire class was in the labs at school. I was there for 27 hours working, with a 1-hour break to go home and eat

I'm glad I don't have to put up with stuff like that anymore.

1st day is in progress, started 09:00, ends 19:10 ... long day... tomorrow is 08:00 to 18:10. Last day is luckily short, 08:00 to 14:30

And all that continues after 2 weeks...

I guess it's a compressed class - longer days to get through quicker? I went to a standard (US) state university where classes were only two hours long at max, twice a week for about four months. Shorter classes were three times a week. So long classes were Tuesday/Thursday, and shorter classes were Monday/Wednesday/Friday.

Sounds tough, but you do what you gotta do.

I passed thru this 10 years ago.

Education is powerfull thing. So keep going and don't quit it. Or you will regret later and it will be too late.
PS My schedule is more busy: on 5 hours a day, 6 days a week and 3 months in succession, 2 times a year. But I do not regret it.

You're thinking of ports. The original Wolf3D used Adlib music - IMF format to be exact.
