I've got MMC/SD card reading! But it is too slow: M68K program method is about 5KBytes (10 sectors) per second. It's too slow, I know, so I had to little complicate my hardware to accelerate SPI transfering. It will be still PIO, but data serialization will be pretty fast, let's see what it gives.
