Y is positive downwards.... 128 upper corner, 288 bottom (I think its 288)...

Weird then, the code seems to increase Y to go into the air >_>

Anyways, the exact values are as follows:
  • Top: 128
  • Bottom V28: 352
  • Bottom V30: 368
It doesn't matter in my case because the sprite rendering routines fix the coordinates so entering 0 gives 0 and not -128 :P

Double posting for the sake of update.

Redownload the ROM, updated a bit. I has been lazy these days respect to it and the only real difference has been the addition of a jumping animation (as well as the fix of a bug that wasn't noticeable until I added this animation). So don't expect a big thingy. This update is so you don't think the game is dead, through I don't want to upload updates too often.

There you go :P

Gonna check the update....

EDIT : nice, worked perfectly on real HW too. I think it needs smoother animation... and I know making animation is pain in the ass...

nice, but the slash should be a bit more away form the character...
