Hi all,
i have read this topic , and i want to try to exchange some data between my Sega megadrive and my Raspberry Pi ( maybe i should open a new topic ?).

For the Pi part i use WiringPi lib and i can sussesfully use Tx and Rx without any problem.

But the megadrive part is bit more complicated:

I have read the official documentation Genesis software manual and genhw.txt from charles MC donald but i need more info about the communications registers.

I have tried to rewrite the registers 0xA10019 for prepare speed communication, and see what's appen in gens watchers but nothings change..
Stef tell me that gens don't support serial registers , did you know an emulator with support it or i need to do all test with the RH ?
Maybe this registers can be read ?

Did you know the size of the FIFO Tx and Rx ?

Actual hardware has no FIFO.
