5 best Genny.MD characters ?

Hello,

I'm looking for 5 names which, when used, make the listener think to Genny/MD.
I know I know, Sonic...but what else ? there are some which made me think to Genny AND SNES, some to Genny AND SMS or to Genny AND Saturn...but to Genny alone ? any idea ?

Vectorman was a pretty solid Genny-only franchise I believe.

Well that's rare, not even Sonic would count in that case. Vectorman is a good suggestion. Some characters I associate with MD:

Pulseman (exclusive!)
Kid Chameleon (exclusive!)
Ristar (also on GG)
Dynamite Headdy (also on GG, SMS)
Flicky (also in the arcades)
Ecco (ton of systems)
Michael Jackson

(Moonwalker, various systems)
Wondeerboy (various systems)
Pengo (various systems)
Joe Musashi (Shinobi, various systems)

There are a lot of charas from games such as Phantasy Star series, Shining Force, Soleil (Ragnacenty), Light crusader, Story of Thor (Also on Saturn), The Birdman from Alien Soldier, Colour guys from Gunstar Heroes, and a long etc...

We're not talking about characters in general, but ones where saying the name causes the listener to immediately think of the SEGA Genesis. Sonic is a prime example. The Birdman from Alien Soldier is not.
