Just Google for 'FM synthesis', it does not matter for Genesis or not, the basic principles are all the same.
Edit: there is very nice video about FM synthesis basics.

You can do a lot of variants of harp with FM. There is no the only possible set of settings for harp.
If you want to see some ready-made instruments, get VOPM and some VSTi host, run it, and check GM preset from /tone/.

MIDI files do not contain anything regarding instrument itself, only a command that tells your MIDI playback hard/software that load this patch... different MIDI devices have different sounds.
You can create a harp sound out of a guitar quite easily, just some TL tweaking is needed, and maybe some MUL adjusts too.

when i save my song , and close the program if i re-open my saved sond, all of my sound is # uped , for exemple:
before closing:
when i re-open my *.mus file
i have tested it with 3 différent PC one with XP , other 98 and last Seven.
it's a bug ?

Well, how about my tracker then? It supports FM part only. There is replayer code in C - I'd say it is easy: include, and three calls (init, play, update). It was used in few SMD projects sucessfully, including games.
