Extract a LIB file from the game Who Shot Johnny Rock

Post by LG30 » Tue Dec 05, 2023 5:17 pm

Hi all,

I would like to start a translation on the game Who Shot Johnny Rock but I am faced with a 200MB LIB file/archive which contains most of the files I need. I see them with a hexa. Would you like how I could extract these files and then rebuild the archive. I make the LIB file available on my drive.
Thanks again for the help.

See if Linux's "file" command detects it as some common format. Otherwise you may need to write custom tools.

Thanks, but I don't have Linux. I have a Mac or Windows.

Then you need a VM, or maybe it's available for Mac under the homebrew thingy, or windows WSL. Not all tools are available for all platforms.
