Manufacturing an error [CD 32X]

Post by MNc99 » Sun Aug 25, 2013 11:10 pm

Hi;
Corpse Killer for CD 32X has a horrible error screen that I can remember terrifying me stupid when I was eight years old.
I finally found video footage of it occurring here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... CkQ#t=1733

The error is at 28:52 if YouTube timestamping doesn't work.

Is there a way, using modern emulators, that I can 'manufacture' a BRAM error to reproduce this error?

Thanks

Just edit your .brm file with a hex editor, throw in some FFs or something.

Kind of late I know but I remember that screen and it scared the shit out of me too. I think you can get it by just not having enough internal backup ram IIRC.
