Google code shutting down

Post by edenist » Fri Mar 13, 2015 6:18 am

So, the news has been circulating about google's decision to shut down google code. http://google-opensource.blogspot.com.a ... -code.html

I figured the maintainers of SGDK would be on top of migrating the code base over to another service, but this was more of a notification to other people whose install scripts refer to SGDK resources hosted on google code.

There's plenty of time to migrate, but better to plan now than panic at the last minute.

Yeah i received the mail, i think it's indeed a good idea to warn people about the Google Code shutdown and specifically the incoming SGDK project host change . In future weeks i plan to move on GitHub, i will make an announcement when it will be done in the official topic =)

Thanks for the heads-up! Stef, would you be able to update the SGDK documentation setup and how-to tutorials while migrating? IIRC, some of the tutorials are slightly out of date and incomplete.
