Built myself a new HTPC, which does SEGA Emulation too.
But, for the SEGA side of things on it.
Obviously has TV out, but can map the pixel 1:1, and run itself in 240p mode, so the games look authentic for the most part. (Fusion has the overscan colors, so it works great).
Audio side of things is where I like it. Instead of the old fasion audio out jacks, it has a single RCA jack which spits out pure SPDIF audio.. This supposedly is more "pure" than the LaserActive, as the LaserActive has to convert analog to digital, as the Sega 315 chip doesn't really have the digital audio out. (proof is of the ADC JVC marked chip in the SEGA PAC).
So, my system overall is a wonderful SEGA HTPC. Oh, and it has a smooth case.
For other non SEGA things, it does: DVD, DVR, TimeShifting, and web surfing on the TV.
