Maybe we can use it as smart gamepad - on Sega there will be game and on Pokitto map, weapons, inventory... Or for minigames as modern VMU.

Notice those VERY small hands and still doesn't seem to be comfortable with it?

Following Matej idea, why not just use 30 years of video game evolution and take a similar controller to a xbox/ps4 have and just put a touchable screen in the middle-top. You could have a portable independent device and a wireless pad with an extra screen.

The idea is that this is an existing product that is both programmable AND has an external bus (the header on the top of the device) that could be used as an interface to other things. One issue with using this with a Genny - it uses the 3.3V standard. It may need level shifters to use with old consoles.

The other problem is that MD doesn't have this type of header, so in RELATION to MD is not a finished product.
Even more: you can't adapt the MD controller to fit a bus, you need a complete new design, so where on the job of adapting it just do it nicely.
