Either way, VGM logging (and playback!) would be great features for your emulator. Highest quality WAV writing!SmartOne wrote:That's what I thought, until the responses on this thread said differently: http://forums.project2612.org/showthrea ... =2865#2865

Can you provide the savestates please? I suppose if VGMs played with VGM_PLAY will suffice. I'm not playing through the whole grueling RPG. :P In that case, I'll just send you the rom I build. EDIT: http://www.sendspace.com/file/9tnkdv The Phantasy Star III songs don't sound as bad (if at all) in R...

Sound issue: Phantasy Star III Disclaimer: I heard this problem using your injected in_gme.dll which I understand is somewhat outdated. The song "Skyhaven" seems a little louder than the other ones, and it distorts very noticeably. Related to CV: Bloodlines BGM 26 crackles? I think so. Just noticed ...

Ah, symmetry. I forget the most obvious things. 857 has one line of border visible on the top. 1067 doesn't present any noticeable difference unless you want to count pixels. :P Video issue: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 The Act intro screen flickers and so do the yellow status messages (Time, etc.) Only 2-p...

Correct Aspect + Stretch + proper monitor aspect selected = TV ;) Finally a crystal-clear answer! You could've said that awhile ago. :) Now I can worry about comparing that to Kega. (Regen still looks blurry in comparison, by the way.) My  = tongue-in-cheek. I never actually c...

Nope, Correct Aspect + Stretch = largest 4:3 image in selected fullscreen resolution. For example, if stretching is on and selected fullscreen resolution is 800x600 then resulting image will be 800x600 (with aspect correction on of course and your monitor aspect disregared) which is correct because...

They didn't knew back in the late 90s that someone would be playing it on a PC using emulator over a decade and a half later :P . And what you are seeing on the emulator is not "raw" as you say it. If you want pure "raw" output, get a memory viewer and watch the video buffer in hex/binary/whatever....

*cough* I am still stuck on that scaling 4:3 issue and would like to know the exact formula. The formula is simple and you may know it already. width/height = 4/3 :) (square pixels assumed. That is, pixel aspect is 1:1) Yep, thats the formula used for calculating width and height. I apologize if I'...
