Re: Megadrive was always the answer
I really like the 2 MD idea. Won't it be possible to use a slave MD like did with the MCD ? Is it possible to have a "slave cart" on the slave MD with all the logic and send message to the slave ? I don't remember of the MD/MCD sync is done but something similar will be needed ... Even more, could t...

Re: Seamless dungeon crawler effect
Of course, i'm able to see how it was done.
My question was more "is there a known/documented way to do ?"
but it seems every game reinvent the wheel every time...for every thing

Re: Seamless dungeon crawler effect
I know it's a "very common thing" but i never found someone which explain it ;) Perhaps it's so basic that it doesn't need to be explained ? I could try to do the same but when it was already done hundred of times, why loose my time reinvent the wheel ? (it's exactly the same problem I had wh...

Seamless dungeon crawler effect
For a long time now I wanted to understand how Shining in the Darkness dungeon crawler was made. I clearly understand the "painter algorithm" and the way to use it to draw the floor, walls, etc... https://wiki.dungeoneye.net/index.php/Maze_rendering What missed was how to make it "seamless" when you...

Re: aliexpress genesis with same logo as spritesmind
A lot of people sent me a pic of it over tweeter
i'm trying to buy one but since I can't pay on aliexpress,etc... not that easy
Of course, I have absolutly no relation with the G1 Mini
China is China
I wonder if they used SGDK logo on their X in 1 menu, like they did before

Re: Exodus 2.1 release soon
Changes all done and pushed to the repo. The feature is off by default, but you can toggle it on in the settings. System savestates store the debug state (IE, timer progress and partially written text output), and debug savestates store whether the debug feature is activated. Text output goes to th...

Re: New spammer countermeasure
It's been a month now and I think it works.
So I reenabled easy registration, to avoid the problems met by some many (real) people trying to register.
Sorry for that, but I had to do this to keep SpritesMind safe.
From now, please contact a moderator if a spammer get into!

Re: 3D printed cart....new paths ?
Which software would be the more useful to "draw" cartdrige, and compatible with 3D printing ?
I saw db use tinkercad... Is it basic enough ?
also I would like to avoid the mm vs inch problem

New spammer countermeasure
Hi there,
To fight again the 10 spammers/day, i installed a new module to fight them.
Let me know if you notice any problem or if people contact you because they can't register.
(hint : you could use the contact page on gendev.spritesmind.net if you need to)
