powerofrecall wrote:sigflup when you say pattern table optimized, do you mean it'll cull out duplicated tiles in an imported bmp?

It should. If you draw on it afterwards it'll leave unused patterns in the pattern table to be consumed later.

do you think the tearing at the top is from vdp fifo delay? I write the vsram every h-blank and reset my counters during h-blank. Why the tear?

Have you tried it in another system (if you have one)? Holy shit!!! It works! Bought myself another sega and it's working with it...

It's always nice to see news demos or homebrew for the megadrive :) Nice job on this one ! Just tested it on a megadrive 1 on a big TV and it looks (and sounds) really nice ! I noticed the rotozoom effect executes a bit slower on real hardware than Kega fusion, i guess some VRAM latency mis-emulati...

I was a little embarrassed about posting this here because the graphics are very bad (I am not a pixel-artist) but what the hell. I released this some while ago

Re: well fuck

I'm not sure why my everdrive cart isn't working anymore. It boots the menu but doesn't seem to write the flash right. I cannot run anything with it. This is totally lame, has anyone else had their cart spontaneously stop working? Looking at the thing all the chips seem in place and no components a...
