Minty: tl;dr Look, man. I'm trying to have a normal conversation here. I was just elaborating on my sentence. If I can't say a word ( to other people , mind you) without you getting in the way and posting ten billion manhours worth of mad and angry response text, I'll just start ignoring you if that...

Are you through?

I wasn't even talking to you this time. (Not that I would want to keep defending something I didn't actually do)

(Also "one" refers to "an MD development cartridge", not a number)

I'm serious. Go ahead, do it. I will be the first to applaud if you get it working.
OK, hold my beer :V

In all seriousness, how about I do one from scratch? Let's see where this goes :)

Hello, Yes, you're actually half-right on that in my opinion. But to do good SMT soldering consistently, you need to have a lot of experience and the right equipment. If you have those, yes, it becomes very easy ;) The problem is, most beginners have some cheapo iron with a giant tip, possibly ruine...

How are these other people relevant? I don't know them. I don't want to know them. It doesn't benefit the topic at hand *knowing* them. First of all, you're making it sound like there were three things when you only named two. I specifically held out to buy any other development hardware because thi...

Wow, what the fuck? I started HASSLING you? Where the hell are you pulling this out from? Where have I been HASSLING you? Can you show any proof of that because if that's true I sure have a definite case of alzheimer's. For the record, me, db and ChrisM agree you were acting like a dick. Oh cool, my...

I raised what I felt were pertinent points with regards to Oerg's insistence and overly pushy methods. Um. Sorry, but all you did was accuse me of being a dick. Sorry but if my post is enough for you to call me a dick out of nowhere and then try to play the victim card and incinerate a flame-war fo...

Hello, needing some MD dev hardware here *poke* *poke* ;) I guess not all of us have full-time jobs, kids to raise, snow to plow, houses to maintain, families to visit, etc... I'm doing the best I can with the time I have. Conversely, the design files are available for anyone to build - I'm quite s...

Well, being able to avoid SMT soldering by buying a finished board is better than having to do it, eh? ;)

f unless you are doing it for the experience at soldering SMT boards.
Well, i do. Not to a level where I could do it practically blindfolded or anything, but it's possible nontheless.

But yeah, Let's see where this goes ;)

Thanks for your efforts!
