The Original Mode is unique in that it allows you to compete against a number of competitors.  You must beat your opponent five times in order to continue on to the next opponent.  If he or she beats you five times, you will go back to the previous stage where you must once again complete five wins.  After each successful race, you will earn cash to fix your motorcycle or upgrade components.  Since each higher stage gets increasingly longer and the opponents get faster, it is to your advantage to upgrade your machine frequently.  Some parts simply will wear and tear like a real machine, and others will break as a result of your driving skill.  If you bump into obstacles and other riders, parts like the Frame, Engine and Muffler will sustain damage and need to be replaced.  Other items that wear and tear like Tires, Breaks, and Oil must be checked periodically.  If you break your Engine, Tires, Frame or run out of Oil the race is over and you lose. Other parts such as your Breaks and Muffler can break and not affect the race, however performance will be reduced.

Below is a look at your opponents and cash prizes.
