hello I downloaded both sgcc and xgcc and I'm trying to compile some example code, maybe just a "hello world" output.
But where is the ide? I mean, after setting up the directories, I go into BIN and try running all the exes there and no ide pops out.. how I'm supposed to code? From notepad? If it's so (the oldschool way) where can I read some tutorial on how to begin inline commands, or some cool guy that correctly set up a standard classic gcc ide ide (I got it for normal c++) for megadrive developement?

It's a mini dev kit for the sega genesis. It make sega genesis system programming easier =) You still have to use your favorite editor to write your code.
