Is it impossible to put a sprite under plan A or plan B?

I know that it is impossible but I hope that maybe a trick exists that does it.

Either use the priority bits, or use more sprites to cover up your sprite. It helps if you arrange the tiles that make up larger tiles in vertical order, so that you can use large sprites.

As far I know the priority just affects tile color? Isn't it?

It should affect the layering of sprites and backgrounds.

Only one way to find out. Try it out and see! :)

Tile color ?? This is true only when hilight shadow effect is enable but the first purpose of priority bit is the Z location.
A high priority tile of plan B will be above a low priority tile of sprite.

Here is the Z arrangement (from bottom to top) depending plan and priority :
B low < A/W low < Sprite low < B high < A/W high < Sprite high

Actually I have tried and it didn't work to me.
I think I did something wrong.
I made a simple test: a tile on the plan A with any priority rendered under sprite with any priority.
That's why I was asking.
I will try again.
Thanks guys.

P.S. I was very tired last time when tested the priorities of the A&B plans and the sprite plan.
Just right tested it in few minutes and it worked very well.
