Super mario 2 1998 [UNL]
hi all;
i have found this roms on internet:
http://sega4ever.power-heberg.com/Downl ... 0Mario.bin
i's a hack of super mario with tiles of Mario all Star for Sega Genesis.
i want to make this game into real sega cartridge with an Eprom.
but unfortunatly the game don't work with Gens , regen and The Real Hardware ( with Megacart) but it's work with Kega Fusion.
a hack called Sonic Jam 6 , work on gens , it's a modification of mario 2 1198 with the sonic sprite, and it works on the real hardware.....
any idea for make it works in a Gens or a real genesis ?

It's very easy to get it to run in Gens.
Just load it, and when you get the error message, load this savestate. Or this.
Which brings me to a question: how hard would it be to make savestates possible on a real system?

I heard somewhere that Super Mario 2 1998 was actually protected by the knock-off Chinese pirates who made it.
Also, here is some nice information about Sonic Jam 6, which I found last year.
It shouldn't be too different for Super Mario 2 1998, except that stuff is located at different addresses.
