Gens32X-KMod

Post by ob1 »

OK, it's a newbie question since I don't know anything about emulator.
Gens can emulate 32X. What would you need to display SH2 registers, cache, 32X main memory and frame buffer ?

easy : understand how the 32X works ;)
I never did 32X programming (nor MCD)

the MCD debug part of KMod is from the original Gens debug feature and Fonzie hints

I didn't work on the 32X part because nobody seems to need them
only the layer show/hide to allow gfx rip and to see what is done by the MD and by a 32X on a 32X game

If I don't understand something, I make basic debug feature...
It's the same thing for sound part (FM/PSG/DAC), I made the ym2612 debug part while working on the ym2612 dev part ;)

THANK YOU !!!!

Not available at 2 AM, but heavy support on PM (private message this time) or mail (you know my email).

I need a little bit more than a simple memory viewer. Register, and eventually cache/private RAM viewer would be really welcome.

ahah!

it's too easy to say thanks to Kaneda only

a lot of people are behind KMod (help or code)
With Fonzie & Stef, don't forget FuzzBuzz, Haroldoop, RedAngel and Edge (you'll see why next release)

as I said to Fonzie, I don't regret this forum, I had more feedback on KMod in 1 month than in....3(?) years
I'll try to release v0.7 this month with, I hope, MVST

Where did you find this demo ?
Image
I've checked the SEGA demo, but could manage to run anything except SAMPLES\GNUSMPLE\MD\DEMO, and rename md.bin to md.32x.
