Is the cartslot taken from a Famicom clone ?
How you guessed? :)
I've got plenty of FC clones, and I also have reserved one cartslot for possible use with MD :)

Nothing special on screen:
Insert card.
Card initialization.
Card ready!

I've got MMC/SD card reading! But it is too slow: M68K program method is about 5KBytes (10 sectors) per second. It's too slow, I know, so I had to little complicate my hardware to accelerate SPI transfering. It will be still PIO, but data serialization will be pretty fast, let's see what it gives. ;)
