Thanks for that :D

Voltage-Regulators are on their way.
I have then only to assist the chap who is handling the Hardware manufacture to write the Firmware to the Bootloader, do some testing then we should be good to go.

But I was under the impression that you only wanted a PCB, Oerg866 - have you asked Prophet36 if he has any left?

Cheers,

Minty.
Yeah, but if it's not financially ruining getting an assembled one would be an option :P But you're right, I should ask him.

Cheers!
Eric

I'll wait for your direction, but you can at least add another interested party to any 2nd batch tallies you may be keeping. Looking to use it for game/demo homebrew work.

edit/PS. Oh and uh, hello Sprites Mind :) Long time lurker, first time poster, shouldn't be the last time. Finally signed up to quite a few retro dev boards I've lurked for years. Lovely community, gleaned a lot from whats already here. Hopefully, in time, I can contribute to the landscape of it. And cheers Minty for putting this production run together and massive thank yous to all the Stefs, Oerg866s, Chilly Willlys, prophet36s of these boards who have made truly great contributions to the retro/Genesis development scene. You guys/gals all amaze and inspire.

Well done for arranging manufacturing, MintyTheCat. Excellent job!

Do you have any idea what the end-user price is likely to be?

If you need help with the initial testing, let me know. I'm happy to help if I can.

f unless you are doing it for the experience at soldering SMT boards.
Well, i do. Not to a level where I could do it practically blindfolded or anything, but it's possible nontheless.

But yeah, Let's see where this goes ;)

Thanks for your efforts!

Well, being able to avoid SMT soldering by buying a finished board is better than having to do it, eh? ;)

I can provide you my address in PM when the second batch is planned.
Hi,

given that we have 20 orders for the first batch it is highly likely that there will be a second batch.

We need to make 3 as a test and if that all works out then we will proceed with the first batch and make them available for those on the list at first to order.

I will direct you all to the purchase area once we are certain that everything works correctly with the UMDK PCBs.

Cheers,

Minty.
Better late than never, count me in for one.

Hey there,

new on this forum but I would be interested in 1 as well if possible.

At first I intended to try build one myself but I'm not sure that my skills are enough :)

Cheers!

I'm up for one of these if/when there is a second batch. Letting me touch a soldering iron could be disastrous. :)
