Speaking with TmEE,
I think that tools for the Z80 may be useful.

You'll find lots of docs on www.z80.info.

Especially the assembler
as80 (v1.1.1) for DOS. Don't forget to launch it with the -x flag.

and the user manual
"Zilog Z80 CPU user manual (PDF)". You'll find it as um8080.pdf on the Internet.
