me (coding in SGDK) and a friend (music and graphics) are working on this game.
first my friend made the game for PC, then I asked him to port the game to the Mega Drive.
it is still a WIP. you can play the alpha version with first 2 stages, it will have a total of 10 stages with a final boss.

Here is another preview of the game.
Comparing with the older video, it is possible to see the new features of the game.
The game now has 15 stages, some secrets, slide movement and a combo system.

Battles with bosses! Faded palette and screen splitting... The game is very similar to the C64-style.

Very nice game.
I would like to have bigger sprites, not so much.
Also, during boss battle, maybe you can speed up clouds and change background pal for darken one.

Nice, but midboss is not attacking hehe
Also slide works like jump to defeat enemies?

I love how in the jukebox, the game character are playing the instruments.

Just to say that the demonstration version has 3 levels to play, but one of them is secret.
Tip: hold some buttons in some screen...
