Post by Orion_ » Thu May 18, 2017 5:16 pm

Escape 2042: The Truth Defenders

Discover a futuristic fast-paced platformer game in pixel art, which includes 2 mini-games, and developed for Megadrive, Gameboy and Dreamcast consoles, also available for PC on Steam.

The game takes place in three different environments (prison, desert, forest) and is interspersed with 2 mini-games, including a reversed “Shoot’em Up” and an original rappelling game!
Avoid the security cameras, collect grenades to get rid of your enemies, exercise your working memory by hacking the computers of the prison to unlock the doors or to disactivate the safety systems.

Wow! This is great! I had no idea you had this in the works. The MegaDrive is really becoming a homebrew powerhouse lately. The Game Boy version looks sweet as well. I'll give the demo a try as soon as I get home, but the video is enough to really make me want to play it.

It's a damn shame the demo is so short, because the game is really enjoyable. I was hoping to try the repelling game as well. All the more reason to buy the full version. I'm kind of torn between getting both the GB and DC one or just the MD one. Haha. I'll have to think it over. Great work, though. This was really a nice surprise.
