Wow hey this is pretty cool! I really like this nifty project!

You know, I must say that Goplanes reminds me of a lot of the things that are missing from today's modern games. Why can't companies stop making generic first person shooters and do something creative and fun for once? I'd play Goplanes over Call of Doody anyday.

Anyways, nice project, props! I find this inspiring and encouraging for the tracker project I'm getting ready to start working on. Keep up the good work. :D

Thanks for those kind words!

Here I am, still playing around with Graphics Gale.

As a general rule, you don't mess with the giant blue penguin.

Nice sprites! You don't see graphics like this too much anymore... companies seem to think no one wants anything but photo-realism anymore.

I wasn't happy with the pilot lady sprite I did last week. Worked on it some more. I wanted a taller and more slender look. Less tomboy and more feminine. Old sprites on the left, newer sprites going right. The last two are currently the best ones, looking more like an officer. No idea why she'd be wearing shorts.

Yeah, shorts don't really go here. Those sprites on the right really look good. Definitely jacket out - no one tucks in a flight jacket.

The scarf is good for air planes... maybe have it flutter while flying.

Last one is definitely nicest. One thing I'd like to see is a tail :P

Those would be some pretty big pants if she could tuck in her jacket.

The last two are when she's flying and when she's not. Gotta see her face once in a while.

I totally missed that! I was too busy fixing her clothes I forgot that she's a cat person.

Decided to convert the sprites to humans. Didn't like the realization that I was making a bunch of furries. The penguin stays the same, because he's a bad ass.

Yes, I realize I've lost the cutest bunny in the universe.

Also, noticed that the pilot lady's uniform looked like a Star Fleet uniform from Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. Mmmm, young Kirstie Alley...

Perhaps you could make it selectable - humans (and penguin) or furries?
