Emulator Video Capture

Post by TulioAdriano » Sun Mar 02, 2008 3:55 pm

How do you guys do video capture on emulators? I've tried Camtasia but I couldn't even get 30 FPS out of it, someone suggested me Fraps but I could not get that working. :?

I have been wanting to capture some Pier Solar gameplay but it is all skipping too much frames making the game look crappy. :(

Any tips? :)

Thanks
Tulio

I think the best way is to add an option on an emulator.

maybe with kmod saving, saving every frame, and then merge everything in one video

you should look at
http://tasvideos.org/EmulatorResources/ ... egaGenesis
(KMod record GMV since v0.5)

or search the gens version I use : gens_movie_test9c

it's how I make the video you could see on each of my releases page
