You'll get a TFMSMD.bin file, which is SMD ROM. Test this file in emulator, and if it play OK (note that it will be slightly pitched because current version of editor does not have freq. correction for *.tfd file), you can use it with any SMD flash cartridge on real console (note that player not tested on real hardware yet, but it must work).
Works great, except for the pitch issue (I've tried it both in Gens and on a real system, identical), also the tempo is remarkably higher. :?:

For channel three and six, operator frequencies can be set independently, making dissonant harmonics possible. (Normally, they would have a simple relation like e.g. 1.5x or 2x relative to a common base frequency.)
And what about this feature? :)

A superb program and i'm having a great time making some cool patches.
keep up the good work it's very impressive.

here are a few demo tracks that i've been working on if anyones interested

http://www.zshare.net/audio/genesis-demo-mp3-k65.html

http://www.zshare.net/audio/fm-revival-mp3-hsw.html

http://www.zshare.net/audio/dance-track ... 3-tq4.html

Everything bar the drums are done using the tracker program except the track FM Revival which uses drum sampled from Streets of rage 1+2
I've also figured a way to integrate this with my own sequencer so i can play each musical part myself rather than using the step programing method that the program uses. i can also add fx, pan and reverb to any sounds if i want.

Here's a question: how do you insert a key-off? Someone already mentioned that it's implemented, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Nice tunes, though the genre is not one of my favourites...

Metal anyone ? I've been working on some tunes for my game that I'm writing for MD, but these are MIDIs not YM2612 FM.

Thanks for your comments TmEE co.(TM)

Here is my next track, a change of pace from the other tracks but very funky and a very good showcase for what the YM2612 can do.

Darkness & Light

Once again I used some original drums rather than using FM percussion but everything else is pure FM goodness

Love these tracks, Groove. Really awesome :D - My fave is the dance tune demo - although I never been a friend of the SOA/EA-like slap bass - this track is brilliant.

rapidshare or mediafire (only z80 source code).
Shiru, could you upload a version of TFM with this update included ?

Feature request: Is there any possibility to put separate order lists for every channel ? Like in RF1 systems MIDI tracker(best thing I've ever used) and BeniTracker (great tracker made in QB).

I'm only moderately experienced with OPx chips, but here are some songs.

dan.tfe, seven.tfe, stealth.tfe, zeppelin.tfe: These are covers of songs from Jill Of The Jungle, which, being a DOS game, used the SoundBlaster OPL2 for the music. I've been pondering writing a Genesis and/or Sega CD port of Jill, and I figured I'd at least do the music.

Lady Madonna.tfe, Paperback Writer.tfe: Beatles covers. "Paperback Writer" turned out a lot nicer than "Lady Madonna," though.

Major Tom.tfe: Cover of Peter Schilling's "Major Tom," but it's only partly done.

Everything else is original.

Problems with tempo may be because I use YM2612 timer (to sync player at 50hz) incorrectly.

At this time - nothing. I don't know how to make it usable in tracker.

I don't understand, what you exactly want?

As I said above, if/when I make MD version of tracker, I'll add PSG and DAC (PCM) support.

So I plan to fix these design flaws in later versions.

Some related news. DiHalt'07 demoparty is finished, and first ever TSFM music compo is finished too. 10 works was sent for this compo, only 8 played at party (2 tracks was lost by some reasons). Here is tracks, (in /FM/ directory, in TFM Music Maker format) and results:

1. 6,000 UnbelievableFlying / TmK^[deMarche]
1. 6,000 znx_type / Shiru
2. 5,639 topor / karbofos^[DLCorp]
3. 5,417 lbf / John Silver & Alone Coder^[Invaders8]
4. 5,263 Difference / C-jeff^[Brainwave / SandS / Tristar]
5. 5,257 drumtest / Alone Coder^[Invaders8]
5. 5,257 Rainstorm / Warlord^[Armagon]
6. 4,571 nothing else just skrju loves us / n1k-0^[skrju]

All authors from Russia, except Warlord from Finland. Track 'drumtest' also uses SSG part of TFM (2xAY-3-8910 compatible) for some drums, this part will not sound in TFM MM editor.

Next version of TFM MM slightly delayed because I currently have some personal problems. Anyway, I hope I'll release next version in this month.

Also, thank to all peoples who posted their music written in TFM MM above.
