I finally decided to finally join SpritesMind. I have done mostly Sega CD development and here is some of the work I have already posted on other forums (sonicretro or sega-16). I am still working on stuff so expect another project released soon.

Welcome! And that's a lot of good stuff. It's great to have someone who's well versed on using the CD here. :D

I have an acquaintance that wanted to put a film he made on SegaCD. I see a convert.sh file on the BADAPPLE.ISO. Did you make some end-user utilities to make SegaCD compatible .CIN files? If you did, I missed where they are. Thanks in advance for any clues!

He did indeed! It's in the SCDTools thread he posted. A bunch of the tools are for generating cinepak files in the proper format.

The convert.sh and SCDTools have everything you need to convert a film to a Cinepak for Sega CD movie. It still requires some work such as 68k assembly to set up the parameters for displaying the film. Also, my tools have limitations such as requiring single palette frames (unless you provide the palette maps). And the version of Cinepak I disassembled has limitations such as a max length of around 3-4 minutes (depends on FPS and other factors).
