i'll try to make my own extension unit, because in my country it's very difficult get a SEGA CD,
and the 32x (MK-84000 revision) refuses to work in my standalone Genesis HDG, but works great in the Genesis model 2, and i prefer the HDG for the great sound department

thanks in advance!

Regards from Chile!

I think it's just something that connect all signals on expansion connector to ground (0V) for better stability.

probably, but not all signal, just the address or data...
and may not be grounded directly, but via a resistor divider...like the old "SCSI Terminators"

Its a bus terminator, which in theory will improve operation, but in reality its not much use :P

OMG Tiido is here!!

you are right, but the first revision of 32x (MK-84000) don't work on a Genesis Model 1 without this extension (when I try to run my games, has graphics glitches, random hangs, bad sound), I try to make my own, because I don't have a Sega CD

on the Genesis model 2 works like a charm, but I prefer the model 1

anybody had this extension?
