Sonic & Knuckles cart question

I asked this over at sega retro, and no one replied, I figure there may be more "experimenting" people here who may have done this already:
Does anyone have pictures of the S&K cart PCB with the cart slot desoldered and removed? It looks like some ID text is underneath that part, and I don't want to potentially ruin the only cart I have right now by removing/readding the cart slot.
