Hi,
I have been trying to perfect my YM2612 core and need some of the following info:
1) The old Sega2f doc says that when in 3 slot mode not only channel 3 but channel 6 also can have different frequencies for each operator? Is it ture? I see that neither MAME or Gens implements it. Is there any game that uses it? I've seen only Ghostbusters do this, and its track 10 won't play correctly in any emu except Kega.
2) What is that CSM control thing? What does it really supposed do?
I had some more questions but I can't remember them right now . Any info will be greatly appreciated.
stay safe,

I found that thread, it's actually still on first page.
The doc states that both channels can have the special mode, through look at the values (D7-D6):
I guess D7 should enable channel 6's special mode but something went wrong...
- 00: No special mode
- 01: Special mode for channel 3
- 1X: Illegal

Sik is pronounced as "seek", not as "sick".
