YM2612 Question

When programming music for the YM2612, is there a certain order that the channels need to be written to? Sometimes, when playing one instrument on top of another, it doesn't sound right; it sounds somewhat distorted. How do I fix this problem?

Don't use TL close to 0, keep them below 8 (on output operators)
When writing freq value you HAVE to write high part first.
Channel update order does not matter.
