Microsoft announces ubuntu into win 10, UMDK under win?

Yup, just wondering if that will be enought to use the UMDK tools into windows...

IIRC the 20151220 release works natively on Windows. The main barrier to entry has been the debugger front-end for GDB (i.e instead of DDD), but I believe Visual Studio now provides a suitable front-end. I posted about it a few weeks ago suggesting that someone try it out, but got no response.
