No, I did not think you were joking. I am genuinely happy for you to go and develop your own dev-cart, and I sincerely wish you well with it. I was just letting you know how much effort I put into UMDK to give you some idea of the scale of the work involved. Bottom line though, in the spirit of good-natured competition: I'm hearin' a lot of talk there, genius. C'mon. Show me what you've got!Oerg866 wrote:As for your post, Chris, you may think I've been joking or something, but I wasn't. It helps that I've done this sort of thing before.

I check this thread maybe once every couple weeks. I'm one of the folks that came in for the 2nd batch.
While its tempting to poke the folks involved for updates I'm also well aware of how annoying that can be especially since this is a hobby/community effort that doesn't owe anyone here a thing. This isn't a kickstarter campaign, I've spent $0 on this so far and have no room to complain.
Instead when there's an update of any kind I'm grateful, when there's no update I say "oh well, maybe next time" and get on with my life. It's unfortunate to see this thread derail as it has so I figured I'd pop in just to echo the sentiment of most level headed folks with an interest in the UMDK which is simply to say THANK YOU Minty, THANK YOU DB and THANK YOU Prophet for putting so much of your personal time and money into this effort to the benefit of the rest of us.
Now back to silence as I patiently, respectfully, let these guys do their thing.
