Really Cool stuff... i only have a doubt ... they keep this stuff just for them or will they share that stuff with the community? We already know TUME https://segaretro.org/TUME (the Universal Map Editor)... i hope they share the archive with us all... thanks for sharing this information.

The source code of Aladdin is obviously copyrighted so if by
"they keep this stuff just for them" you mean "they are respecting the copyright and avoiding a lawsuit",
then yes, that is what they are doing.
As an officially registered association they have to respect the letter and spirit of the law and their goal is not to disseminate copyrighted materials but to preserve them to make sure they are not lost to time and do historical research on them and communicate the results of these research.
Obviously with the copyrights holders agreement they would gladly offer access to the data but until they get it they cannot.

So you have answered to a six month post, that no one cared about, just to tell me the obvious? Is that it?NekoNiaow wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2017 10:13 pmThe source code of Aladdin is obviously copyrighted so if by

That's pretty cool. I wonder how many other games that could apply too...HardWareMan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2018 6:39 amAlso...
