Sega2.doc Scans now in PDF

Post by TulioAdriano » Fri Aug 17, 2007 4:25 pm

When you are bored without much stuff to do at work, what do you do?

Help the Sega Development community, of course! :D

I compiled all scans published by Eke on the other topic into a single PDF file. The size didn't reduce, but now you can read it at once without the need to be comming back and forward on the index page.

Also I added links to both Software and Sound indexes also a supplementary index was added on the sound part.

Here's the link, I recommend that you right click and save as instead of just click because some browesers may try to open on the Adobe Reader plugin:

http://chemicalplant.monkeeh.com/docs/G ... Manual.pdf

I don't know how long I may hold that link on the server (due to the file size), maybe 1 month, maybe forever, so feel free to copy and publish on your development websites!

Best regards,
Tulio

Only if you don't use a Mac. Adobe's PDF viewer and web plugin for Windows takes forever to start up, which is the true evil, but OS X uses PDF as its basic graphics model and comes with a viewer which supported it from the start.

And this is nothing more than a bundling of the Rex Sabio gifs into a big PDF for convienence. I've done that to a few of the docs already in the process of trying to OCR them. It's separating the pictures from the text that is the hard part, and I haven't done any of that yet.

Anyhow, I've got an HTML version at http://xi6.com/files/sega2f.html but it's based on the old Word->HTML conversion and still missing those couple of pages about sprites.
