Sega Mega Drive/Genesis Collected Works
Anyone else seen news of this new book coming up?

Looks pretty interesting! It's authorized by Sega, and the writers were given access to lots of internal documents. It's 352 pages, including prototype design concepts and hardware/manufacturing details too. Who knows, there might actually be some information in here that helps with emulation.

I have one on order the predicted release date is early AugustHuge wrote:I remember the kickstarter. I was just wondering a few days ago if it was out yet. Those production details will be very interesting, it looks like this won't be another one of those "collected facts from Wikipedia" type of deals (which is the reason why I'm not buying books anymore).

Yep, got mine a few weeks ago, still flicking through it. I love the design scrapbook bits!
