SOLVED IT My use of char variables has been shocking, I've cleaned up my code and made sure everything is declared and pointed to in the correct manner and all the graphic glitches have gone away!

Bunch of new updates. Still working on the sprite issues! I had resolved them Stef by cleaning the code up but some seem to have returned! I will track them down

Sprite issues resolved and working smoothly
Implemented basic draft of mystery dungeon
Slimepit animation implemented again only draft
Implemented fade between rooms and on title screen (please comment if you feel the fade should be longer, faster, or not there)

New update! Implemented some of the new backgrounds and also started working on making the game more animated by adding background flame sprites.
May need to come back and talk about managing sprites at some point!

Gonna be the nitpicky guy here and suggest that you try to see if you can make the font serif (instead of sans-serif).
Sik is pronounced as "seek", not as "sick".

I've just look your video. I like the flame animation, it's little detail but important.
