SGDK - Virus scanner false positives?

Post by djcouchycouch » Tue Feb 28, 2012 2:47 pm

Hi,

Unzipping the SGDK, I got two messages from McAfee VirusScan saying that bintos.exe and bintoc.exe contain each a trojan, a version of Generic-FRAX. Has anybody else seen this? Could they be false positives?

Thanks!

bintoc as bintos are small tools i created with delphi.
Except if delphi itself was infected (i remember it happened once, a virus was replacing a system object file) there is no chance this is real infection.
I have a virus scanner which claimed my system begin safe so...
Anyway i will probably rewrite these tools in C as i don't want to rely anymore on the non portable delphi dev env.
