I don't understand , in some time all Genesis emulator was discontinued, before anything this emulators need a version 64 bit for Windows 8.1 and 10 , because this new Windows don't have directX 9

What is happens with Fusion and Regen??

They're not discontinued, they're sleeping. 64-bit versions aren't exactly needed - they'll run just fine as 32-bit binaries on 64-bit Windows as long as Microsoft keeps the WoW64 around (which I doubt is disappearing anytime soon).

As for DirectX 9 and Windows 8.1/10, Fusion/Regen works fine after you install the DirectX 9 redist - that's all you have to do to get them working.

As far as Regen is concerned, I hope you're right. I tried emailing AamirM with no success (not that it really means anything of course).

No friend, you can't install DX 9 in Windows 8.1 and 10, this OS starts with DX 11 only

If the problem you are having with Fusion is the fullscreen performance, this page mentions two workarounds: http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/pos ... st=1202630 (With this it Fusion works fine for me under win 8.1)

Umm, yes you can. I've done it on both. Use the DirectX 9 Redist found on Microsoft's site.

which you forgot to post a link to the MS web site.
Get the DirectX June 2010 End-User Redist Runtime package here.
Run this package on any 32bit or 64bit Windows OS from XP to Win10 and Regen will work.
