Books?

Post by powerofrecall » Sun May 18, 2014 5:23 am

So I've been on the lookout for old 68k and z80 books on Amazon lately, but I'm interested in picking up other stuff... does anyone know any older 80s/early 90s era books concerning hardware design and engineering from those days? I'm always wanting to know about how hardware works electrically and would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

One book I found really helpful when trying to learn more about computer hardware is a rather old book called "Microcomputer Primer" by Mithcell Waite and Michael Pardee. The book is copyright 1976 (the edition I have is anyway), but I found much of the material still relevant for understanding the basics of computer hardware when I read it.

Trying to get myself a copy but I don't know how much I trust the "1 left in stock" of various Amazon book dealers. Thanks for the recommendation though!
